Riverwalk Ranch is a sprawling, 27-acre alcohol and drug dependence treatment facility located just outside of sunny Beaumont. The grounds include a swimming pool, spa, and walking trails, with a quiet meditation garden for personal time and reflection. A dedicated inpatient program manager assesses the needs of each individual and creates a treatment plan that can include cognitive behavioral therapy, traumatic incident reduction therapy, and neurofeedback/biofeedback or EMDR to treat the underlying mental state that leads to addiction. Rebuilding the individual and changing the habits that result in a circular pattern of addiction is the second phase of treatment, with mindfulness exercises and life coaching that helps individuals make healthier choices in real-life situations. At the end of treatment, patients are encouraged to take part in 12-step programs and journal relapse prevention strategies.
What patients are saying:
One patient offers this positive review, “Riverwalk Ranch has a fantastic facility. We were provided with great meals and a variety of recreational activities to occupy our free time. They offer multiple classes during each time period so that you have the freedom to choose which specific group you would like to attend. There are some opportunities for improvement regarding the communication between staff and the clients. This is especially true with regard to rule changes or alterations to the planned schedule.”
