Since 1977 Bradford Health Services has helped Pensacola, Florida, teens, young adults, and adults who struggle with drug abuse or alcoholism. It utilizes the 12-step principles approach but also individualizes care by combining the approach with new medical and clinical research. The substance abuse center is able to provide full-day and half-day intensive outpatient care for adults and offers continuing care programs for two years after completion of an intensive outpatient program. Bradford Health Services also holds 12-step meetings and a variety of substance abuse education programs along with a family-support group that’s open to the public at no charge.

Lakeview Center, Inc. is an affiliate of Baptist Health Care that offers behavioral health services to those who are abusing alcohol and drugs. It provides a variety of outpatient and inpatient programs designed to meet the needs of each individual. The center treats children, adolescents, and adults. Since 1949 Waterfront Rescue Mission has helped homeless men beat substance abuse issues and find a path towards economic stability. The Gospel based recovery program is designed to last 12 months and is composed of six months of recovery followed by six months of career development. The aim of Waterfront Rescue Mission is to help struggling men get back on their feet by enriching their lives on a personal and spiritual level. Waterfront Rescue Mission features a standard curriculum along with individual and group counseling. Following the first six months, vocational transition opportunities are offered to men who are able to stay sober.
