MedMark Treatment Center is located about an hour northeast of Killeen. It is a federally accredited center that helps with a wide array of opioid addictions, including hydrocodone, codeine, morphine, tramadol, and several others. The center uses three phases of medically-assisted addiction treatment, including the induction phase, the stabilization phase, and the maintenance phase. How long the induction phase lasts depends on the medication being abused. Patients in the stabilization phase are administered the medicine they need on-site every day, and patients in the maintenance phase might qualify to take the medicine home so they can attend the treatment program less often.
