The facility works to give patients a better life free from addiction by offering them a safe place to stay for the duration of their treatment. Its 90-day program focuses on helping men overcome their addiction and understand why they became addicted in the first place. Patients can exercise for mental clarity and physical fitness. They can also work in the woodshop, directing their energy into learning about woodworking and creating something they can be proud of. Clients attend daily activities at the chapel and attend recovery classes in the study hall.

Morgan’s Mercy Mansion is a women-only rehabilitation facility located in Winnsboro, TX, approximately an hour and a half west of Texarkana. The facility offers a faith-based approach to addiction treatment. During the six-month residential treatment program, patients participate in daily recovery classes and therapy sessions. Patients also attend daily devotional activities and Bible classes to develop a positive outlook on their future. The staff wants women to succeed in their lives after program completion, so they teach the patients how to find and keep a job, how to parent, and how to participate in daily life. Texas Dream Center is a faith-based facility that is exclusively for men in nearby Deport, TX. The year-long treatment program is based on the 12 Step program, and patients are expected to attend daily recovery classes, as well as Bible studies. Patients have regular access to licensed chemical dependency counselors and are able to interact with former addicts who teach them that they can have a future free from drugs and alcohol. Residents also attend life skill classes and work programs, so they can assimilate back into daily life once they leave the facility. Texas Dream Center runs a six-month aftercare program for former patients to help support them as they continue on their addiction-free journey.
